CO2 Set for 20th Annual Conference in Midland

CO2 flooding has been replacing waterflooding in the Permian Basin for over 30 Years. Currently over 190,000 barrels a day of oil in generated by CO2 flooding. CO2 conference chairman, Steve Melzer, notes that the rise in unconventional shale plays has created more interest in CO2 flooding. The Conference runs from Dec 9-12 with a Produced Water Management for CO2 EOR on Dec 10th.
