The Department of Energy's Federal Advisory Committee (FACA) the Unconventional Resources Technology Advisory Committee (URTAC)will meet September 9 in Houston to review and discuss RPSEA's 2011 Draft Annual Plan.
The FACA is made up of the Ultra-Deepwater Advisory Committee (UDAC) and Unconventional Resources Technology Advisory Committee (URTAC) in which each reviews RPSEA's draft Annual Plan.
The Department's UDAC was established to advise on the development and implementation of programs related to ultra-deepwater natural gas and other petroleum resources and review and comment on the program's annual plan.
The Department's URTAC was established to advise on the development and implementation of programs related to onshore unconventional natural gas and other petroleum resources and review and comment on the program's annual plan.
PLEASE NOTE - The UDAC Meeting scheduled for September 8 has been canceled.
The UDAC and URTAC are open meetings to the public. RPSEA encourages all members to attend these meetings for more insight into the 2011 DAP and FACA process.
