Ultra-Deepwater Geoscience Committee and Reservoir Engineering Combined TAC Meeting

Geoscience Committee TAC's goal is to develop and optimize techniques, technologies and tools that enable us to overcome geoscience challenges, including subsalt imaging, reservoir characterization, fluid characterization, economics, high pressure/high temperature, and geomechanics.

Reservoir Engineering TAC's goal is to examine trends that are of significant generic interest to the industry, while avoiding detailed reservoir issues where participants have competitive concerns.  Focus is field development, appraisal and production, and reservoir surveillance

Meeting purposes:
  • Working together - Reservoir Engineering and Geoscience Committee TACs
  • Review and approve Subsurface Roadmap
  • Review approved Reservoir Engineering and Geocience Committee projects
  • Develop 2009 RFPs
You must RSVP to attend this meeting.

Directions and Parking
The meeting will take place in Continental Building at 1600 Smith Street. Please note that this building is not one of the former Enron Buildings. A map is attached. Once you enter the building on the ground floor, you will proceed up the escalator to the 2nd level (concierge floor). Next, you will take a left and go through the elevator hallway to an open area. You will notice a Chevron security suite to your right. Please enter and tell them you are here for a meeting. You will need to provide your name and they will call us to release you to the 35th floor, where we will be waiting for you. Please arrive 15 minutes early to allow for check-in at security.

Parking in any of the parking garages near our building is possible, but expensive. Numerous surface lots exist to the East of Louisiana Street (see map). These lots charge $3.00 to $5.00 to park and are only a short walk from our office. Bring change as no parking attendants are on duty at these lots.
