Small Producer Forum - Establishing RPSEA-Funded Initiatives

Every year for ten years, RPSEA will use its $37.5 million budget to fund various industry-backed research projects related to a) ultra-deepwater, b) unconventional resources, and c) small producers.  RPSEA’s budget for the Small Producer Program is around $3 million/yr.  This meeting will focus on small producers and researchers from the Mid-Continent (especially KS, OK, CO, and NM) to network, discuss, and define “focus areas” related to Mid-Continent producibility problems.  Small producers are encouraged to provide input to define these “focus areas” and to create and participate in research alliances targeting solutions that can be funded by RPSEA as part of their FY 2010 program.

Please consider participating in this meeting hosted by the Kansas Geological Survey (The University of Kansas) and local industry partners to help define the technical needs that can be addressed by RPSEA’s funding to increase domestic oil and gas production.

The forum is limited to the number of attendees so please register by April 27.

Join us also for a reception the evening prior on April 29 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the Courtyard by Marriott at Wichita Old Town for all those attending the forum.  You must register for the forum and the reception separately.  Click here to register for the reception.
