Onshore Production Conference
The Bureau of Economic Geology's Houston Research Center
The RPSEA Small Producers Program conducts research that targets technologies that are beneficial to onshore operators working in the United States. This workshop, to be held June 17, in Houston, Texas at the Houston Research Center of the Bureau of Economic Geology, presents an opportunity for geologists, engineers, service company representatives, field operators and oil field staff in Texas to hear the latest perspectives and technologies developed from across the country that may be used in reservoirs in East Texas, South Texas and the Permian Basin of Texas and New Mexico.
The presentations will focus on technologies that are applicable in Texas and the southern Midcontinent and southern Rockies. Presentations will address operational methods to enhance production, water handling, paraffin management, new oil from residual oil zones and horizontal drilling methods for zonal isolation from other regions that are applicable in Texas. The speakers will join in a round table discussion and question and answer session following the day's presentation.
The cost is only $50 and pdh certificates for 8 hours will be available. A continental breakfast, lunch buffet and reception are included in the price. Workshop materials will be posted on the RPSEA web site for downloading after the workshop. Parking is free at the Houston Research Center.
