RPSEA Program Advisory Committees

RPSEA Program Advisory Committees (PAC’s).

RPSEA research includes both an onshore and an offshore program and we are updating an onshore and offshore PAC comprised from our members. The PAC provides program direction and is involved in selecting R&D projects.

RPSEA will be holding regional onshore PAC workshop meetings beginning in June. We will have our first onshore PAC meeting in the Woodlands on June 21st and offshore PAC Meeting June 22st in Houston.  We also host an onshore PAC meeting in Denver June 27th.  Others will follow.  The topics from these meetings will be used as research priorities, and included as part of the Annual RPSEA Research Plan. In addition, we will develop research priorities and program language for FY 2018 funding and Congressional reauthorization.

We would like to invite your organization to be a member of RPSEA and assign a representative to one or both of our PACs.

About RPSEA.

Founded in 2002, with headquarters in Houston, Texas, RPSEA is a unique 501(c)(3) non-profit, national consortium that provides focused research and development to deploy safe and environmentally sensitive technology that can deliver hydrocarbons from domestic resources to the citizens of the United States.  Its membership consists of the nation’s premier research universities, national laboratories, other major research institutions, large and small energy producers, and energy consumers.  Once projects have been selected the processes of identifying, selecting and managing research developed by RPSEA through member participation in technical advisory committees increases R&D success rates, shortening the cycle time from concept to application and maximizes the return on funds invested.   www.rpsea.org
